CERTIFIED QUALITY ENGINEER EXAM PREP

Course Days: Every Monday and every other Wednesday
Course Time: 6-9 pm
Course Length: 84 hours (8.4 CEUs); Twenty-eight 3-hour sessions
Course Cost: $990

Prepare for June 2, 2012 examination

Course Description: This course is intended to review the topics in the ASQ Certified Quality Engineer Examination.  The body of knowledge includes but is not limited to:  descriptive and inferential statistics, sampling distributions, hypothesis tests and confidence intervals, regression analysis, statistical process control, sampling principles, quality systems, testing and inspection procedures, human factors and motivation, quality costs, quality audits, and deficiency identification and correction. A training manual will be provided and two textbooks (approximately $110 combined) will need to be purchased.

SAMPLING PRINCIPLES
Course Schedule: January 17, 2012 to April 3, 2012
Course Day and Time: Tuesday, 6-9 pm
Course Length: 33 hours (3.3 CEUs); Eleven 3-hour sessions
Course Cost: $420
Course Location: To be determined based on location of participants

Course Description: This course will cover the use of lot sampling methods such as ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 Sampling Procedures and Tables for Inspection by Attributes and ANSI/ASQ Z1.9 Sampling Procedures and Tables for Inspection by Variables for Percent Defective, continuous sampling methods such as MIL-STD-1235C, as well as skip-lot sampling methods.  Two ANSI/ASQ standards must be purchased.

CERTIFIED QUALITY PROCESS ANALYST EXAM PREP
Course Schedule: March 1, 2012 to May 31, 2012
Course Day and Time: Thursday, 6-9 pm
Course Length: 36 hours (3.6 CEUs); Twelve 3-hour sessions
Course Cost: $450
Course Location: To be determined based on location of participants
Target Audience: The Certified Quality Process Analyst is a paraprofessional who, in support of and under the direction of quality engineers or supervisors, analyzes and solves quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects.  Exam is on June 2, 2012.

Course Description: This course will review the topics in the ASQ Certified Quality Process Analyst Examination.  The body of knowledge includes but is not limited to: quality planning, cost of quality, audits, roles and responsibilities of teams, problem solving and improvement, data analysis, data types and collection methods, sampling methods, and statistical process control.  A training manual will be provided and a text ($46) will need to be purchased.
